  On August 18, 2019, the investigator meeting for the Phase III clinical trial of "Recombinant Human Hepatocyte Growth Factor Naked Plasmid Injection," hosted by Beijing Northland Biotechnology Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Beijing. Over 80 participants attended the meeting, including medical experts from the leading center, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and nearly 20 research centers nationwide, as well as representatives from third-party research organizations such as Kuntexin Cheng, Lianshida, and Taimai Medical.

  The meeting was chaired by Professor Changwei Liu, the principal investigator of the Phase III clinical trial from the Department of Vascular Surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He focused on explaining the selection and design of drug injection sites. NORTHLAND medical staff introduced the research background of the investigational drug as well as previous research findings. Kuntuo Xincheng personnel provided detailed explanations on the trial protocol and procedures, management and use of the investigational drug, project planning and monitoring plan, and management of safety events. Liansida staff outlined the responsibilities and division of labor for SMO personnel. Tai Mei Medical staff demonstrated how to use the central imaging system. Participants engaged in a lively discussion on key topics such as clinical trial inclusion criteria, design of drug injection sites, and concomitant medications, and reached a consensus.

  Finally, Xu Songshan, Chairman of the company, delivered a concluding speech. He stated that the “Recombinant Human Hepatocyte Growth Factor Naked Plasmid Injection” is an innovative drug developed by our company and is part of the nation’s major new drug development project under the 13th Five-Year Plan. The successful development of this drug carries significant importance not only for all participating parties but also for society as a whole.
