The Phase III clinical study project for recombinant human hepatocyte growth factor naked plasmid injection has been approved by the Office of Human Genetic Resources Administration of China.
On May 30, 2019, the Phase III clinical trial of "Recombinant Human Hepatocyte Growth Factor Naked Plasmid Injection" by Beijing Northland Biotechnology Co., Ltd. received approval from the Office of Human Genetic Resources Administration of China to proceed with the study.
Following the approval from the Ethics Committee of Peking Union Medical College Hospital—the leading unit—obtained in March, our company has submitted an application for review of this study in accordance with the Provisional Measures for the Administration of Human Genetic Resources. The approval received from the Office of Human Genetic Resources signifies that all preparatory work prior to the launch of this project is now complete. Our company will carry out the relevant work strictly in line with the approved content and scope of the study, striving to complete this research to the highest standards, with high quality and efficiency, thereby providing a safe and reliable treatment option for patients suffering from severe lower-limb ischemic disease who currently lack effective therapeutic drugs in clinical practice.
