The NORTHLAND NL002 project held its Phase II clinical trial kickoff meeting on September 2, 2006, at Wendu Shuicheng in Beijing. The meeting was chaired by Professor Song Santai from the Affiliated Hospital of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. Attending institutions included Beijing Military Region General Hospital, Beijing Chest Tumor and Tuberculosis Hospital, Tianjin Tumor Hospital, Fujian Provincial Tumor Hospital, Tangdu Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University, Central South Hospital of Wuhan University, Union Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, Gulou Hospital affiliated with the School of Medicine of Nanjing University, Nanjing First Hospital, Department of Epidemiology and Health Statistics of the School of Public Health at Nanjing Medical University, First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, and Beijing Zhaoyan New Drug Research Center (a CRO company). Participants actively engaged in discussions, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere at the meeting. Ultimately, the protocol for the NL002 Phase II clinical trial, the informed consent form, and the statistical analysis plan were finalized.
