The NL005 project was granted another Chinese invention patent on May 6, 2009. Thus far, the NL005 project has obtained protection through two invention patents. The patent granted this time is titled “Thymosin β4 Derivatives and Their Applications,” with patent number ZL 2005 1 0103293.7 and certificate number No. 494288 issued by the State Intellectual Property Office.

Thymosin β4 is a small-molecule protein composed of 43 amino acids, possessing a variety of biological activities including chemotaxis, angiogenesis, wound healing, and myocardial repair. Our company has developed recombinant Thymosin β4 using genetic engineering technology and is currently working on an innovative drug that can be used for the treatment of conditions such as skin injuries, corneal damage, and acute myocardial infarction. This project has also been granted an invention patent, which has strengthened our company’s protection of intellectual property rights related to this project, both in terms of scope and intensity, and further enhanced our company’s core competitiveness.
