Recently, the 2016 projects under the key special program "International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Between Governments" of the National Key Research and Development Plan have been finalized. The project titled "Joint Research on an Integrated Sterilization Production Process for Ophthalmic Solution Preparations via Blow-Fill-Seal," jointly submitted by NORTHLAND and South Korea's Huons and recommended by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, has been approved and funded under the key special program "International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Between Governments" of the National Key Research and Development Plan administered by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The “Intergovernmental International Cooperation on Scientific and Technological Innovation” key special project is an integral part of the National Key R&D Program during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. Established at the national level by the Chinese government in 2001, this program aims to systematically coordinate and integrate China’s scientific, industrial, and educational resources to carry out extensive and in-depth international scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges, effectively leverage global scientific and technological resources, enhance China’s capacity for scientific and technological innovation, and jointly promote scientific and technological progress for all humanity.

This project marks the company’s first time collaborating with a foreign enterprise on a research project, and also represents the eighth time the company has secured national-level research project approval and financial support, underscoring the company’s continuously growing strength and advanced research capabilities.
