The Phase IIb clinical trial for Project NL002 has been fully launched.
Building on the findings from the Phase IIa clinical trial, and in order to better advance the development of the new drug NL002, the company has decided to proceed with a Phase IIb clinical trial. As of mid-May, preparatory work—including the selection of clinical hospitals, the formulation of the Phase IIb clinical trial protocol, case report forms, informed consent documents, study cases, and investigational medicinal products—has been completed. The company has also successfully signed clinical trial collaboration agreements with 15 hospitals and held a training and kickoff meeting for the Phase IIb clinical trial at each of these centers. A total of 15 hospitals are participating in this clinical trial; all of them are Grade III-A hospitals that have already obtained GCP certification. The principal investigators are nationally renowned clinical research experts with extensive research experience. In accordance with relevant GCP regulations and requirements, the company has dispatched eight clinical monitors to the 15 hospitals, who are currently providing assistance to each center in conducting the clinical trial.
