According to the “Administrative Measures for the Technology Innovation Funding for Science and Technology-based SMEs in Beijing” issued by the Municipal Finance Bureau and the Municipal Science and Technology Commission (Document No. [2006]3101 of the Beijing Finance Department), as well as the “Administrative Measures for the Support Funding for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation of Small Enterprises in the Zhongguancun Science Park” issued by the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee (Document No. [2006]21 of the Zhongguancun Science Park Administration), and following expert review, it is proposed that 315 technology innovation projects receive approval and funding support under the Beijing Municipality’s Technology Innovation Funding Program for Science and Technology-based SMEs for the year 2011.

The NORTHLAND project, “Preclinical Study of a Novel Trauma Treatment Drug,” has passed the review by the relevant technical expert panel and received financial support from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium-sized High-tech Enterprises. This reflects the encouragement and recognition from the Beijing Municipality and the Zhongguancun Science Park toward technological innovation in biopharmaceutical R&D enterprises. The company will continue to be guided by clinical needs and driven by technological innovation, fully leveraging the financial support from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium-sized High-tech Enterprises to complete the project development with high quality.
