According to the “Criteria for Identifying Key High-Tech Enterprises under the National Torch Program,” after rigorous expert review and public online announcement, our company has been recognized as a key high-tech enterprise under the 2012 National Torch Program. A total of 62 enterprises in Beijing have received this prestigious honor this time.

The Key High-Tech Enterprises under the National Torch Program are selected annually by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology from among enterprises undertaking Torch Program projects. In 2012, a total of 784 Key High-Tech Enterprises were recognized nationwide under the National Torch Program, with a validity period of three years.

The key high-tech enterprises under the National Torch Program are first and foremost required to be recognized as high-tech enterprises themselves. Additionally, these enterprises must meet one or more of the following criteria: they must have led the development of domestic industry technical standards or participated in the formulation of foreign industry technical standards; they must have received the National Science and Technology Progress Award; they must have undertaken projects under national key science and technology programs (such as the National Torch Program, the National Science and Technology Support Program, the International Science and Technology Cooperation Program, and the National High-Tech Industry Development Project Program) over the past three years, and successfully commercialized the results of these projects; and they must possess core technologies, with a substantial number of independently developed intellectual property rights within the past three years and a significant number of products listed under the “National Key New Product Program.” Consequently, the key high-tech enterprises under the National Torch Program represent the elite among elite enterprises, rigorously selected through a competitive screening process. Once an enterprise is designated as a key high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Program, both the central and local governments will provide comprehensive support in areas such as market access, information services, financial resources, management, and specialized services. These enterprises will also enjoy preferential income tax treatment as high-tech enterprises, and may qualify for additional government financial subsidies specifically targeted at high-tech enterprises. In particular, when applying to the state for undertaking major science and technology projects, such enterprises will be granted priority consideration.
