The three projects undertaken by our company under the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” National Major Science and Technology Project—“Major New Drug Development”—namely, “Recombinant Human Hepatocyte Growth Factor Naked Plasmid Injection,” “Preclinical Study of Recombinant Human Thymosin β4, a Class 1 New Drug for the Treatment of Myocardial Infarction,” and “Preclinical Study of Recombinant Human Enhanced Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone Fusion Protein, a Targeted Anti-Tumor Class 1 New Drug”—have successfully passed the final acceptance inspection organized by the Implementation and Management Office of the “Major New Drug Development” Special Project. The conclusion drawn is that all three projects have completed the research tasks specified in their respective project contracts, achieved the intended objectives, and complied with regulations regarding the use of funds. We have also received the acceptance conclusion documents for all three projects.

With strong support and guidance from the State Science and Technology Commission, and after more than three years of dedicated efforts by all the company’s research personnel, the company has successfully completed the three aforementioned scientific research projects. Not only have we achieved remarkable scientific results, but we have also significantly accelerated the development progress of three Class 1 innovative drugs. The company will continue to increase its investment, striving to bring safe and effective new drugs to clinical practice at the earliest possible date and to enhance China’s capabilities in new drug R&D as well as its international competitiveness.
