Recently, Beijing Huonland Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Huonland”), a subsidiary controlled by our company, has received the “Notice of Approval for Clinical Trials” (No.: 2025LP02966) issued by the National Medical Products Administration for its independently developed “Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Eye Drops.” This marks the first eye-drop product that Huonland has obtained clinical trial approval since its establishment, signaling a significant milestone in the company’s R&D efforts—a transition from mature generic drug products to the promising blue ocean of high-end generic drugs.

“Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Eye Drops” are α-adrenergic agonists classified as Chemical Drug Category 3. Their approved indication is the treatment of acquired adult ptosis. This product was first approved in the United States; currently, it is not yet available on the Chinese market, and there are no alternative drugs currently available for this specific therapeutic area, indicating a significant unmet clinical need. With this approval, Huiren Land has been authorized to initiate clinical trials for this product, placing it firmly among the leading players in the development of this drug.

Huonland has deeply rooted itself in the ophthalmology sector and has established a mature quality management and production control system in the areas of product R&D, CMO/CDMO/MAH contract R&D and manufacturing. Thanks to its many years of profound experience and expertise, the company has earned a solid reputation within the industry. The recent approval to initiate clinical trials for “Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Eye Drops” is both a testament to the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance its R&D and innovation capabilities, and an important milestone marking its strategic shift toward a dual-drive model of “technological innovation + industrial synergy.” Guided by clinical needs, the company will continue to focus on the development of innovative drugs and generic drugs with outstanding clinical value, building an integrated, full-industry-chain ecosystem spanning R&D, manufacturing, and sales. By doing so, the company aims to strengthen its core competitiveness, ensure long-term, stable growth, and contribute to safeguarding public eye health.
