On September 23, 2021, Mr. Saramady Toure, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea, and his accompanying delegation visited Huonland, our holding company’s subsidiary. Nie Liya, General Manager of the subsidiary, and Wang Yongjiang, Deputy General Manager, extended a warm welcome to the ambassador and his delegation. The two sides engaged in an in-depth and friendly exchange on cooperation and development.

General Manager Nie Liya briefed the Ambassador on Huonland’s development status as well as the R&D, production, and sales of ophthalmic products. She also led the visiting delegation on a tour of the production workshop, where they gained firsthand insights into the production lines and the current state of product manufacturing.

The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for our company’s advanced production equipment and its commitment to pursuing product quality. He also expressed his hope for an opportunity to engage in deeper cooperation, bringing our high-quality ophthalmic medications to African countries—including the Republic of Guinea—so as to bring well-being to the people of Africa and achieve common development.

The Republic of Guinea was the first sub-Saharan African country to establish diplomatic relations with China. Over the past 62 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, the two countries have enjoyed mutual trust and support, engaging in extensive cooperation in areas such as energy and infrastructure. The current visit by the Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea to China has also provided valuable insights for our subsidiary’s ophthalmic pharmaceuticals in exploring international markets. Both sides will subsequently hold further discussions on specific cooperation initiatives.
